About Me
Class of ’80. Graduated in International Relations and History from John Cabot University. Master in Interpreting and Translation in Spanish at SSML Gregorio VII. I attended the Jewish schools of Rome since a I was a child, up to scientific high school “maturitá”.
Simultaneously with my university career I worked in the conference sector at FAO (Food and agriculture organization), and with the WFP (World food programme) of the United Nations also traveling to various Latin American countries where I had contact with local Jewish communities.
In 2010 my son was born and I return to the traditions I learned in my family, a Roman Sephardic family. I started to take care of the enhancement of Roman and Italian Jewish history and culture in the tourism sector. After few years working for Jewish organizations and the museum of Rome, I becamr a licensed tourist guide and tour leader. The official obtained my the Italian state gave me the opportunity of taking tourist groups to discover the beauties of the Italian territory not only in Italian, but also in English, Spanish and Hebrew. I am also accredited with the Vatican State. Since 2010 I have been following continuous learning courses in history, archeology, food and wine, customs and society of the main areas I give tours to. Specializing in the Jewish aspects of the country, I lead Jewish tours of Rome, Florence, Verona, Bologna, Venice as well as Calabria and Sicily.
